According to latest figures, the population of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

From 2004 and 2024, the total of male centenarians has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. Over the identical period, the amount of female individuals reaching 100 nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are eager to listen to those aged 100 or over, their loved ones or friends, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s major happenings and changes.
