The Three Lions have already booked their place for next summer's tournament.

Chalobah was given his maiden selection under England head coach Thomas Tuchel in the month of May and then played his first game against Senegal.

In September, Tuchel remarked Chalobah was unfortunate to be omitted from the squad for qualifying games against Andorra and Serbia, and additionally omitted him for the subsequent October fixtures.

Tuchel has been an significant influence in Chalobah's progress, having awarded him his Chelsea debut in 2021.

Chalobah has appeared in almost every fixtures for Chelsea this season, with the side third in the Premier League, in the Carabao Cup last eight and in the group stage of the Champions League.

Guehi sustained a foot problem in Crystal Palace's Conference League success over AZ Alkmaar in their last match.

There are likely to be further additions to the squad. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has said that both attacker Anthony Gordon (hip) and shot-stopper Nick Pope (a concussion) are set to pull out from the national team.
