'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year agreement he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the first important achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he once was, and would certainly contemplate extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
