Real Madrid's winger Offers Apology to Los Blancos Fans
Vinicius Jr has scored 5 finishes in ten La Liga appearances so far this term.
The Madrid giants winger Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his reaction when substituted in the recent heated Clasico clash victory.
He was taken off in the 72nd minute and displayed his frustration by walking immediately to the dressing room.
The Brazilian later returned to the dugout and, after his side's 2-1 victory, tried to confront the opposition's Lamine Yamal during unpleasant final whistle scenes.
"Today I want to express regret to all the Real Madrid fans for my response when I was taken off in the Clasico," the player shared on X.
"In the same way as I have said in person during this morning's practice, I wish to say sorry once more to my team-mates, the club, and the leadership.
"Occasionally emotion overcomes me because I continuously aim to triumph and support my side. My winning mentality stems from the passion I have for this team and everything it represents."
The player moved to the Spanish capital from his former club in the year 2018 for £38.7m and has accumulated triple figures in more than 300 games.
But his career in the Spanish capital is unclear with speculation in recent months indicating that Real would think about allowing the player move on if they were to receive a good proposal.
When Vinicius was replaced on the match day, cameras from broadcaster the service recorded him remarking: "Always me! I'm departing the side! It's wiser if I go, I'm leaving."
In his latest statement on the platform, the athlete stated: "I vow to keep striving constantly for the benefit of Real Madrid, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
